H2O + Something is a reef club that want to provide acknowledgement to reefkeepers community from all over the world. Our goal is to create a modern reef concept, by unravelling the most recent studies, news and techniques to a successful reef aquarium.

At this moment we have four members in our crew, all from Portugal, we intend in the future to expand our membership to at least one member from each continent.

The requirements for joining H2O + Something team are not only the individual reef skills but also the willing to share and improve everyday knowledge.

Membership

Nelson Pena, 24 years old is finishing his degree in Hotel Management but he also have an experience studying for 2 years Aquatic Marine Sciences.

Since 2001 that he´s keeping reef aquariums and he just started his new project in coral propagation with a new system with 2500 liters.

Ricardo Pinto, 27 years old, medical doctor, has aquariums since 1995, started with cichlids and planted aquariums.

In 2005 he initiated his first reef tank, he currently has an 800L Reef tank. Special interests in Reef Chemistry and Ultra Low Nutrient Systems.

Filipe Simões, 37 years old is our web designer, lives happily with his reef aquarium which is an entertainment everyday.

He has been living by the sea the whole life, since young he developed a special empathy by marine species, and when the opportunity came he started a reef aquarium.

He has dived in Red Sea. Actually lives joyful as a Designer.

André Silvestre, 27 years old, is finishing his Master degree in Dental Medicine, a major expert in planted aquariums and marine photography.

Has recently started two reef aquariums showing already excellent results. Special interests in Sps Keeping, Reef Chemistry, Photography and Reef Layouts.
